Tested on version 0.51.0 running at startup as admin. If I don't change the settings for the camera, I can still at least mute my mic. Without changing the camera input to the one previous of me changing the settings. In Discord, when I change the camera settings to Video Conference Mute and then proceed to start my camera, Discord crashes and restarts. It displays Camera Failed in the tiny preview window. And when I restart the browser it just defaults to the previous camera that I had selected before changing to Video Conference MuteĪs for Google Meet on Chrome, when I change the camera in the settings. This issue also persists in Google Meet on Firefox, where it just crashes the browser and prompts to either restart or quit the browser. I have one generic HD Camera plugged in using a USB port.Īnd I have OBS Virtual Cam installed as well. Zoom allows joining meetings and viewing settings. PowerToys, however, doesn't recognize the OBS camera, even when the camera has been started. I don't use it, but Zoom recognizes it and always seems to want to use it.

I don't have a video camera on my system, but I've installed OBS Studio which creates a software "camera". Wait 10 seconds dismiss popup window if it appears.Note that clicking the settings icon does nothing. Note that joining a meeting doesn't work.
